Our cleanser is formulated with mild surfactants, biodegradable jojoba beads for gentle exfoliation, and 0.5% PENTAVITIN® – a clinically proven ingredient that binds to skin for lasting moisture. Unlike typical actives that rinse away, PENTAVITIN® provides measurable hydration and barrier support that remains, long after cleansing.

KEY INGREDIENTS

PENTAVITIN® - After a single use, 0.5% PENTAVITIN® boosts skins hydration for 24 hours. After 1 hour and after 1 week of frequent showering the skin barrier is reinforced.

Jojoba beads - ultra-gentle, biodegradable exfoliating beads to polish and smooth skin.

Why we use it: The universal solvent! Helps improve the spread of a formula and as a carrier for other ingredients. Can be a diluent in cleansers to avoid irritation or harshness.

Pentylene Glycol

Why we use it: Pentylene glycol is a moisturizer with a glossy finish that helps products glide effortlessly on the skin. It also enhances the penetration of active ingredients into the skin as well as boosting other natural preservatives in the formula.

Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine

Why we use it: Mild cleansing surfactant known for its beautiful foaming abilities.

Source: 81% naturally derived from coconut oil. Ours is readily biodegradable, a non-negotiable for us when formulating rinse-off products.

Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate

Why we use it: This ingredient is used as a thickener and sensory enhancer and is used for its gelling properties. It offers a luxurious texture, similar to that of synthetic polymers, but with a significantly more sustainable profile.

Source: Ours is 95% naturally derived from corn grown in the USA. It is a readily biodegradable material, unlike traditional synthetic polymers, which makes it a sustainable and superior choice for rinse-off products.

Glycerin

Why we use it: Glycerin is a very common and effective skin hydrator. Improves the skin-feel of a formula.

Decyl Glucoside

Why we use it: Decyl glucoside is an ultra-mild but effective cleansing surfactant suitable for very sensitive skin. It also contributes to foam building in the formula.

Jojoba Esters

Why we use it: In our cleanser, jojoba esters are the tiny exfoliation beads. Our jojoba beads are a natural alternative to microplastic spheres and a gentler choice than other natural exfoliators like shells or pits of fruits.

Sodium Cocoyl Apple Amino Acids

Why we use it: A mild, bio-inspired surfactant designed from amino acids found in apples. This ingredient provides a very soft, abundant foam and respects the skin barrier.

Carrageenan

Why we use it: An extract from red seaweed which thickens the formula and contributes to the spreadability of the product. It offers a luxurious gel texture, similar to that of synthetic polymers, but with a significantly more sustainable profile.
