KEY INGREDIENTS

BV-OSC - An oil soluble Vitamin C derivative shown to boost collagen production and dramatically improve the skin's brightness and pigmentation. At 10% BV-OSC significantly reduces age spots and effectively suppresses the damage caused by UV-B irradiation. At just 2%, BV-OSC reduces the Blue Light oxidation of the skin.

Natura-Tec SeaBerry Blue™ - At 2%, this complex was clinically proven to increase the skin's natural production of antioxidants by 42% when exposed to UVA and UVB and by 28% when exposed to Blue Light.

Why we use it: This ingredient is a protective, liquid wax, rather than a traditional vegetable “oil”. With a chemical composition very similar to human sebum, it has the ability to rebalance the skin microbiome and replenish lost moisture and elasticity both immediately and long term. It provides a very silky, non-greasy feel to the formula with a medium fast absorption time.

Why we use it: A lightweight, fast absorbing oil with a multitude of benefits including softening and moisturizing skin by restoring the skin's natural protective film. Sesame oil is packed with nutrients and rich in linoleic acid (omega 6) which helps with skin barrier repair and reduces acne and inflammation. It is known as the “queen of oils” and “fountain of youth” and is widely used in Ayurveda.

Why we use it: A highly formula-stable, oil soluble form of Vitamin C that effectively penetrates the skin with no irritation. It is a powerful antioxidant, showing dramatic reduction in blue-light oxidation, and DNA damage caused from UVA and UVB .
